The N64 007 Goldeneye watch $7

Trip:

I was working at Best Buy when the N64 finally disappeared from our shelves.  We had about 10 copies of Conkers that didn't sell on clearance for like $10 and I think we just shipped them back to HQ.   I am f'ing pissed I didn't buy all 10 of them now.   :lol

Another one like that was Nascar 2003 by Sierra/Papyrus.  You could get big money for a cd key of that for a long time. after it got d/ced and iracing bought the rights.

pinballjim:

I only ever saw one copy of it and it was $14.99 day of release new.  It was kinda funny but nowhere near the legendary status it's taken on.  Only thing I can figure is college kids today tricked their parents into buying it for them when they were 9.

ChadTower:

Conker's was a big Blockbuster rental title.  That's probably how a lot of the kids remember it.  Some N64 games were put heavily into rental rotation and barely into retail sales.  That did work so they decided to try rental only for a few titles, but they were crappy games, so those failed.  Those Blockbuster exclusives are some of the harder N64 games to get now.

dgame:

I received the watches I did.

I like how they look as a set.

Ok, I have mine now. It's all you could expect for a seven dollar watch. Unfortunately, the wrist band is 'one size fits most'. By most, they mean all you fat bastiches. It's too loose on me :duckhunt

Pity, because I actually was going to wear it, but to adjust the band would probably mean a trip to the jewellers or summink, which would cost magnitudes more than the watch...

edit: SNAP, dgame!
