A Fistful of Quarters! - western themed Evolution Cab...FINISHED...

Yeah, I thought I compensated for the plexi. But, it stands PROUD of the t-molding. I filed a 45 degree chamfer on it with a sanding block and it seems better, but the t-molding definately doesn't capture it like I wanted.
But, what can you say for garage work . :dunno
I'll ponder it over the next week since that's how long I have until I think I'll have to program the PC and get it all working. I still have a lot of work to do.
Actually, in looking at your CP, I might be able to fenagle some sort of fastener on each corner to compensate. The overall theme is old west, so something with a dark patina might not be too noticable.
Otherwise, the art is fantastic and I got almost perfect with the trackball and other holes.

Marquee is in. It's about a 1/4" short, so I'll have to fill in the edges, but the colors look great. The light wash on my android is horrible, but it looks excellent. I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow..
While it looks dark sans light, when lit, it's almost an exact match! Thanks to LeChuck for the assist on the art!:
Next is speakers, kill the light coming from the speaker holes and start wiring!!

Big update tonight. Spent the last 4 hours wiring the CP and testing the connections with a multi-meter. Enjoy!
Had to shorten the leads for the GGG trackball. These things were LLLLOOOONNNNGGGG!!:
Got all the fasteners and crap and started to work! Blue for 2P and purple for 1P. Commons are RED!.
Switch wires installed:
Commons installed on top. Using multi-colored zip ties since I ran out of black...
End result! Can't wait to plug it in. I have to cover the speaker panel in speaker fabric, then set up the computer and it's ready!!
Thanks!

It's an arcade!!!!
Well...it's friggin freezing out....for GA standards. But, I managed to get the thing put together tonight.
First, 2 setbacks... first the GX270 that I had earmarked for the cab had the Dell capacitor issue...it died when I was loading MAME on it...crap! Second, I hacked a C14 plug off it's power supply and proceeded to melt the entire thing trying to get the wires and resistors off it. It was a tangled mess.
Anyway, I hacked a C14 plug off another power supply, CUT the offending crap outta the way, then soldered the power into an awesome power strip that I bought. The sound, marquee and monitor are REMOTELY CONTROLLED with a neat little fob. So, the PC is always on, but the monitor, marquee and sound are on remotely controlled power outlets on the strip. So, leave the room, push the button on the fob and monitor, sound and marquee are off. Here's a link. Basically, 2 outlets are always on, and 4 are on a remote that looks like a key fob:

Here's pics of the arcade! It's running. I just have to update the mamewah skin, and it's done. Once it's moved into their house on X-mas eve, I can order the plexi that fits into my homebrew knohbody monitor mount! The speaker panel is entirely covered in speaker fabric from Jo-Anns and it looks awesome. It lets just a bit of light down on the control panel. Enjoy:
Oh, and I've totally ripped off another member's idea for a serial plate:
I can't wait to get this outta the garage!
