Pretty damn true, but it is heading in the PnR direction I suppose… |

Really the whole thing screams out "I'm never going to leave New Jersey!" |

He had no idea that they were referred to colloquially as "tramp stamps"... sharing that info with him was a real highlight of my life (he was kind of a ---meecrob---). ;D But I agree, while there are still lots of jobs that might look down upon tattoos, there are plenty that a tattoo would have a neutral or positive effect. Just depends on what people are going for. My parents probably saw tats as suspicious... I find them disarming, as so many of my friends have had them. That doesn't mean there are a lot of poorly chosen tattoos, though (Atari 2600 space invader? 5200 version was so much better). |

I like art in all it's forms. Of course I like some art more than others... getting tattoos of arcade game characters is not high on my list of *good art but maybe it is to him. Who am I to judge? And as far as I am concerned it SHOULDN'T be holding him back from any job he is capable of doing, but then again I am pretty much open to people doing what they want as long as it doesn't hurt others. *I like arcade art, but it doesn't make good permanent body art IMO. |

I would encourage him to get more tattoos. They look very impressive. Being negative or prude doesn't help anyone in this case. When I see people with tattoos I think they are pretty brave wearing them in public. I would be supportive of your friend's decision, being the prime benefit of having a friend that shares the same hobby is wonderful. Personally I find tattoos to be a violation of your body's temple, but we are all different. Besides he hasn't gone full r-tard. This might be a contender for full r-tard: Warning: NSFW: Link :laugh2: |
