Anyone Around Great Adventure (NJ)

(1/1)

Thenasty:
I'm dropping kids off Great Adventure tomorrow and planning to be hanging out some parking lot till ready to go home.

Wondering if there are spot thats Arcade Related that i could hang out or even a get together would be great.

LMK thanks.

DaveMMR:
I used to go to Great Adventure every year - nowadays only sporadically (though I got to make it last year).

They do have an arcade in GA - but it's mostly redemption stuff and you're out the money you spend to get in.

There are also outlets nearby.  But arcades? I checked Google Maps and it seems the closest ones (iPlayAmerica & Swingtime) are more family-oriented fun spots and not your old timey traditional arcade.

You should just buy yourself a ticket and do a few rounds on Nitro (my personal fave coaster).

+1

Kids love it when Dad comes and plays with them.  They won't be like that forever.

There will 7 (16 years old) kids being drop off. I don't think I am allowed to hang with them :( and don't feel like a loner going to rides all by mtself :(

Don't feel like driving back & forth (1 hr x 4) either.

I'll be a loner in the car

Well that's evne better.  A parent should never miss an opportunity to mortally embarrass their teenage children.  :D
