Whammoed, did you get his 2nd version ones?  Just saw he is releasing them now.  Didn't read what he changed though.
Having trouble finding episodes 5 and 6 as one of the main sites just got taken down by DoS attacks.  If this isn't acceptable talk here could you pm me where you got them?

Yeah, I had to convert the first one with dvdfab(paid for) to mkv

I think they are the first version.  Not sure if I tried dvdfab, but I'm not sure if my copy is licensed for the format anyway.  I have an old paid for version that I don't use anymore.
PM me your email addy.

I don't mind Kirk in the movie it is what they did with Kirk in the movie that is not cool.  But I did like the Next Generation story line so that version might be interesting.

Totally agree--and that was exactly the "author's" reason for redoing it--he felt that Kirk deserved far better than he got.

Yeah, agree about the Kirk deal. That was lame. That aside, I still never quite got the movie. They got sucked into some weird space dream ribbon or something that puts them in happy land where everything they dream up is all fake. Then wouldn't Picard and Kirk dreaming themselves into the past to stop Malcolm McDowell just be a false reality? For as much as Star Trek fans care about continuity, you the authors would write something that made sense.

Call them dolls. Nothing kills coolness like the insinuation that you play with dolls.  :lol

Luke, I am your father.

It's funny because he doesn't say it and purists get choked at it.

VADER: If you only knew the power of the dark side. Obi-Wan never told
you what happened to your father.

LUKE: He told me enough! He told me you killed him.

VADER: No. I am your father.

Shocked, Luke looks at Vader in utter disbelief.

LUKE: No. No. That's not true! That's impossible!

VADER: Search your feelings. You know it to be true.

LUKE: No! No! No!

Old, but not obsolete.

It may phase weak people but a true action figure collector won't let it get to them. They may even have a comeback for you!
And I hope no one here thinks that action figures are "dolls". Video games (most anyway) are for little kids when you think about it.

When using an archaic second person pronoun one should probably use the archaic second person verb.

Example:  Thou shalt acknowledge the 12" Star Wars Dolls

Yeah well I don't talk that way in real life so I don't know how to type it right. It was a joke anyway.......  ::)
And I don't collect 12" figures, but as long as you don't play tea party with them what's the difference? I know people that collect barbies and they aren't little girls anymore.

Nobody's judging. Some men dress up in women's underthings. Some play with dolls. Don't ever let anyone make you stop being you.

I have never understood why people have to be into either Star Wars or Star Trek.  The rivalry thing is the most annoying aspect of both of them.

The only problem I have with Star Trek is that to actually be INTO Trek you have to watch like a dozen shows and 100's of hours of Television and movies.  To be into Star Wars you watch 2 good movies, 2 okay movies, and 2 bad movies.  Maybe play some video games.  It's way easier.

I like Trek, I just don't have the TIME for Trek.

And read about 150 novels... and all the young adult books... and the comic series... and watch the TV show.

It's not any less time to really be into it.

I never said I did, I said people do. I know people that do though.

And there is nothing wrong with collecting action figures. People collect model cars/planes/boats, etc. and no one says anything. It's a hobby, everyone has a hobby. And by hobby I mean properly displaying them on a shelf, like any collection should be.

Anyway, older people are the biggest collectors!!

Action figures are not just for kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

trekking95 . . . can't you see that I'm on your side? You play with Barbies and other dolls. And that's 100% your right. We live in America, where a person should be free to pursue their hobbies, no matter how embarrassing.

Americans playing with dollies is perfectly acceptable but perhaps our brothers in the great white north are not as liberated. Closet doll playing is likely commonplace.

trekking95 . . . can't you see that I'm on your side? You play with Barbies and other dolls. And that's 100% your right. We live in America, where a person should be free to pursue their hobbies, no matter how embarrassing.
You are missing the point, collectors don't play with their collection. People who collect model cars don't play with them, they display them. It's like having a nice little museum of stuff. That's not embarrassing, if done right people actually envy you.
Read this: http://actionfiguresbuff-jon.com/notold-collectactionfigures/

And it's not wrong to do it for the people that do, but stop with the barbie thing. We are talking about Star Wars related stuff here, incl. collecting their action figures.

Actually I know lots of people up here in Canada that have collections, and they have all types of things. Figures, toys stamps, dolls, model cars/planes, etc. You name it, they have it.  And people up here don't hide their collections from others, seems you US people do though. Being so ashamed of your barbies and all. :lol

You know what I am saying about the difference between collecting and playing, Eh. Or maybe you don't know what I mean, Eh. I think a 5 year old would understand the difference between collecting and playing with all the ways I explained it, but you just didn't want to see/hear the difference, Eh.  :banghead:

Right now I would have to say you had a bad experience with collecting, maybe someone told you that you were too old for it and it shattered your self image, Eh. That bothers me that it happens to people like you, they can't enjoy collecting anymore, Eh. Well anyway just go search some stuff like adults who collect Star Wars (or any other line of) action figures and see how many there are, Eh. You will be surprised that they aren't all nerds who live in their mothers basement, Eh.  ::)

Anyway I guess if it's not arcade or :censored: related it's too much for you members here to grasp, typical non-Canadians, Eh. I will be back when I need ideas for repairing leaf switches or making Atari to NES adapters, Eh. See ya all later, Eh!   :laugh2:

I'm just giving you ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---. Sort of surprised I got away with it for so long. Until I sold it less than a year ago I had an enormous Pez Dispenser collection. I posted a bunch of pictures of it on this forum. I thought for sure someone was gonna blow my cover, lol. Still, stop playing with dolls.

I knew what you were doing, but I was hoping that I would be wrong and you were really that ignorant.... that is to what I was saying.  :stupid

And what's wrong with Pez dispensers? How do you eat your Pez without them?  :P I feel bad you sold them though, why did you?

Or are you saying your wife (if you're a guy anyway) made you get rid of them?  :lol

My wife and I have been married ten years. Lived in sin for three years before that.

Married ten years, good for you!  ;D  :applaud:
But besides having nothing to do with why you got rid of the Pez dispensers (if you would rather not say that's fine, but my comment about your wife making you do it is a joke anyway), why bother telling people about living in sin?

You can't possibly be Canadian. Look how antagonistic you are!

I am Canadian too.  Bet that wrecks the whole theory.

The relevance is that if my wife were inclined to and able to make me get rid of my Pez Dispenser collection, it is unlikely that it would take her thirteen years to do so. The relevance of living in sin is that while we have technically been married for ten years, we've effectively been married for thirteen.

Here's the thread in which I discuss selling my collection.

What he really means is that they spent the whole first three years coveting their neighbors' goods.
