What annoys Star Wars fans?
Malenko:
I couldnt get into the original star trek, it just a little too cheesy for me, a victim of the technology of when it was made (of course, the beaming up effect is still pretty neat). I actually liked ST:TNG for a while but I sorta fell out of love with it before it ended. I never really gave any of the other STs a chance, but I did enjoy the recent movie.
As far as Star Wars..... I think the thing with Star Wars is the idea of Star Wars is awesome. Force powers, light sabers, speeders, and all that ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---, its just so cool. But the execution isnt as great as the concept. I like the original trilogy, I dont love it, I dont think its the greatest thing ever, but its very entertaining. The prequels, meh, the biggest strike against them, other than Hayden Christensens "acting", is that you already knew how it was going to end the first time you watched it.

It makes for a much better movie--almost like an extended episode from the series, and it's also a very impressive technical feat, cutting an entire arc out of a movie and still having it flow.

I don't mind Kirk in the movie it is what they did with Kirk in the movie that is not cool. But I did like the Next Generation story line so that version might be interesting.

Well put. Although I've been pretty embarrassed by some of the geeks dressed up on opening night for Star Wars movies. I only play lightsabers with my kids.
I did take my two oldest to the midnight showing of the last Harry Potter movie. There were a number of high school kids there dressed up. Somehow they didn't come off as weird as adults in Star Wars and Star Trek gear.

I live in a small town, so when only ONE person dressed up as a full-on Klingon for Star Trek: Generations, it mostly received laughs.

Yes, those are amazing. I guess I've got them in BluRay format burned to DVD-DLs? Go rather nicely into 2 disc DVD cases along with a copy of the cleaned up Christmas Special.

Got all three yesterday. Been wanting something like this but just hadn't looked into it.
The .iso files would not play with vlc nor could I convert them with makemkv. They also wouldn't play when I mounted them virtually. Was able to burn one to DL DVD but would only play on a blu ray player and not on the pc that burned it. Ended up finding .mkv files someone had converted which work great. I will be destroying any other "original" versions I have.

Whammoed, did you get his 2nd version ones? Just saw he is releasing them now. Didn't read what he changed though.
Having trouble finding episodes 5 and 6 as one of the main sites just got taken down by DoS attacks. If this isn't acceptable talk here could you pm me where you got them?
Yeah, I had to convert the first one with dvdfab(paid for) to mkv
