Start TV in S video
« on: August 04, 2012, 08:06:33 am »
Hey guys
I am on my first build and you all have been a tremendous source of great information so thank you!  I  have looked around the forums and found a few threads on this, but nothing has solved my issue.  So I have a tv and when you unplug and plug back in it will automatically turn on, if left on initially, but it will turn on to channel 53.  If I manually hit the power button, it will keep the same channel I left it at.  Is there anything I can do to get it to power on, when I plug in, to s video?  I have deleted every channel already, and tried to do the service menu with no luck.  As far as I can tell I cannot map a channel number to s video either.  This is an old crt philips magnavox tp2783 cp101.  I appreciate any help I can get on this.  Thanks

Update:  I have hooked up my computer to the tv, and the tv will randomly jump from s vid to channel 53.  Any ideas?
