You just have to watch out for debris getting under the router plate and gouging out scratches while you're working. |

As Alfonzotan mentions with HDPE and most softer plastics, the chips from the cut can damage the workpiece. Double sided taping a piece of the same or softer material base plate on the router can help also. |
