I think this tragedy is awful and I'm not trying to be crass but WTF is up with the ribbon? Does that strike anyone else as being in terrible taste? I dislike ribbons in general, being a soldier I see them as another way to say "I'm doing my part" without actually doing anything, but putting a black ribbon in the middle of the bat symbol completely steals the focus from the victims and makes it about the ---goshdarn--- movie. Maybe my panties are in a twist over nothing but if heaven forbid there was ever a tragedy at a McDonalds I was at the last thing I would want smacked around the country would be a golden arches with a ribbon superimposed on it. |

God knows that idiot's going to get 10x more media coverage than anyone in the military, all of whom deserve it 10x more. |
