| Removing buttons from a Tankstick |
| (1/1) |
| swindmiller:
I am a newbie that built his first arcade and went with a Tankstick. I am getting an overlay graphic and want to remove all the buttons and joysticks when I apply the graphic. I have loosened all the buttons but want to know the best way to remove them. How does the sensor (or whatever it is) come off of the actual button? I just don't want to break anything and is this the way you remove the buttons. Thanks, Scott |

First remove the switches from the bottom of the buttons. Then unscrew the nuts from the bottom of the buttons. It's a good idea to label the switches before you remove them so you know where to reconnect them later. |

Thanks!! Do the switches just pull off? I am afraid of breaking them...is there a trick. Thanks, Scott |

Just an FYI while you have it apart. If you ever wanted just one more button, the tankstick has an extra input for the middle mouse button that isn't used. I added a dedicated exit button: http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=100885.0 |
