More Star Wars cabs than monitors and yokes to go around, at least he did something with it other than torching it.

The he is calling the phone a slimline because that is what that model is called, it is an AT&T slimline. Chances are this thing was probably put together a long time ago, or else the phone wouldn't be there.

As much as people make fun of this thing, more than one collector I have talked to in real life said they would buy it if the price dropped low enough.

I have a gutted Space Invaders Deluxe that I am probably going to do the exact same thing with, except without the phone.
