I agree with your edit link.  99.9% sure that's a Zippyy.  They come with those same red/black switches.

Looks like the buttons use these switches: http://www.gremlinsolutions.co.uk/products/yennoxmicro.htm

Bad News: The only down side that I see is that Gremlin Solutions doesn't list button manufacturer or switch specs on their site.   ???

Good news:  Buttons are cheap and easy to replace if you don't like them.

P.S. You might want to consider using some of these to upgrade those Zippyys.

Thanks guys. Ive decided not to cheap out. Im going to buy an ultrastik and 8 buttons from Andy and then next month get another one. Starting my build on Tuesday so must get my order in before he goes on holiday
