Finally got the wheel working....mostly. For some reason, button 3 on the steering wheel will only register as pressed when button 4 is held down. There must be something funky with the grounds, but I am not gonna spend any more time on this one. I'm calling it good. I will just make button 3 and 4 at the same time as a quit hotkey. boardjunkie, here is where I traced the pedals to. Keep in mind that my wheel was just resoldered, so there is a chance something is effed up by me, but I think this should work fine for yours. Also, I think it is a Windows 7 generic driver issue, but I had to reverse the polarity on the gas pedal pot. I tried a couple games and they got confused with pedal polarity, so I just reversed it. gas pot pole 1 = Red wire on JP3 gas pot pole 2 = Purple wire on JP2 (Gas pot was originally soldered to lead 3 and 2 respectively. brake pot 2 = Yellow wire on JP3 brake pot 3 = White wire on JP1 |
