You'll love this one, pinballjim......

I'm selling some headphones (new, because I bought the wrong ones....), and some guy messaged me with the following:

Would you trade the headphones along with $120 from you for a white Xbox 360 Pro 60GB 1 white wireless controller halo ODST Command and conquer 3 and left 4 dead?

I said I didn't play console games.

Then he said: im asking because the deal could easily be sold for atleast $150 or more

I said, "Then sell it and come back and buy the headphones."

But he wasn't done: craigslist wont let me post to sell why you think im asking for trade and some cash lol

I said, "I guess we're both hosed then."

SNAAKE:
I get this kind of email all the time

"jtag my xbox for a turtle beach headphone?? just google and see how much it is..JUST DO IT ITS HELLA EXPENSIVE BRO!!"

....I dont need any headphones. I dont even play online. gtfo :dunno

phyrosis:
i always wonder what goes through their heads at that point.... is it true idiocy, a lack of caring, or do they not know how to read...

just cause you say its worth more and your willing to trade it, does not mean i want it for my arcade/computer/ect

lilshawn:
Expensive gaming headphones + online gaming = listening to 10 year olds call me a "---Bad words, bad words, whatcha gonna do? Whatcha gonna do when saint censors you?---" 100 million times and "how good my mom was last night"

no thanks. keep your headphones.

Also had some guy trying to push these rediculously overpriced "beats" headphones on me. listened for about 1...2...3 seconds before i was like "dude that sounds like crap." looked online at some testing they did with them... hell they can't get the sound coming out of the the left and right to match...and the response curve had this crater in it that looked like a nuclear bomb hit it.

If they don't list a phone number, but respond to your e-mail with "Call me at..." - just delete it and move on.  They want to give you an hour long story about how they got it and play let's fish for an offer.

If they do list a phone number and you text it and find out it's a landline - just ignore them and move on.  A housebound layabout owns nothing I want.

If they refuse to provide any kind of picture before you get there - move on.  Especially if they give you some kind of BS 'I broke my cell phone last week' story.  No picture = no sale.  People without functional cell phone cameras that manage to get stuff listed on Craig's List are too poor and/or stupid to have anything I want.

If they say they don't have a car and can't meet you anywhere - move on.  It's some 13 year old kid selling his older brother's crap without permission.  Yes, I've interrupted dinners and heard arguments because some twerp told me to show up at 6pm and he didn't clear it with the family first.
