SWT X-Wing Issues

Flake:
So my SWT is experiencing some odd X-wing issues.  Lately, upon booting up the game the x-wing cannon will go from side to side (it should do this as its part of the boot up process) and then will stop out of alignment and I get the error message on the DMD.  But if I physically move the x-wing back into place and reseat the molex connector on the magnet that is used to pull the ball into the lane that loads the cannon the game works fine.....until I shut it down and power it back up again.

WTF?
