Connecting wires to these little, crowded posts on a PACLED

TheShaner:

What is the best way to do this.  Soldering does not seem wise as these are really crowded.  Is there a single post connector that I can crimp or anything else that is standard?

ed12:

hi
unless i missed something here
they are called screw down binding post's
ie u insert 18-22 guage wire into the hole below the screw terminal
and tighten the screw down, pull the wire to make sure it is locked in
etc etc

PL1:

If you have the connector body that was supposed to come with the PACLED, Andy has 10 packs of the insert wires here.

Bryan has these or these.

Or, maybe you could just plug in some old IDE drive cables and add a couple of the Bryan's 4-wire connectors.

TheShaner:

ed12, what you are thinking of is on the UltraPAC, not the PACLED.  The PACLED just has posts.

PL1, I think you are barking up the right alley.  I will check with paradise.

Thanks,

Shane

Nephasth:

My PACLED64s came with 24 pin connector housings, but I got some 48 pin housings from Molex for them...

But just about any .100 header connector should work.
