Valley Cougar Dart Board, free play?

Hi, I'm a newbie to this board. Just purchased a Valley Cougar Dart machine and although it has the original manual included, it doesn't say anything about free play mode! How do I switch it into free play mode? It doesn't seem like the switches are the answer after looking at the manual, they just do everything else. Is there another switch somewhere other than on the board? Any help would be much appreciated!
