Looking for a good 4 player simultaneous game list
« on: October 21, 2013, 09:18:18 pm »
Can't seem to get a good one out of romlister with controls.ini and numplayers merged into the xml.  too many four player alternatings and weird duplicates still in there.

anybody got a clean one?

Um, nothing specific but here's some that I can recall...

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Simpsons
Quartet
Gauntlet (several flavors)
X-Men
Captain America and the Avengers
Sunset Riders
C.O.W.B.O.Y.S of  Moo Mesa

There's an older thread http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=100663.0 here about the same thing.

If you got 150 I'm pretty sure they added a 4p clone of thunder zone recently.  Its wacky but I bet it'd be fun with 4

Don't forget the Midway sports titles, NBA JAM/Hangtime, NFL Blitz (99 or 2000, original was only 2 players), NHL Hit the Ice

FTFY
Hit the Ice was the grand daddy of Open Ice, feature cartoon characters like in Arch Rivals ( the grand daddy of NBA Jam)

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

I know about all these.  If you do the best xml filtering currently available,  you get to a list of about 170 with obvious Japan/euro dupes hand removed.  I was just hoping to filter out the last 20 that are really 4p alternating to get to the pure 3/4p coop only.  looks like I'll just have to start 170 games and look at them.

I thought since there have been a lot of 4p panels lately that maybe someone had already done it.
