Mounting trackball (PS2 paradisearcadeshop trackball)

I ended up purchasing a cheap trackball for my cabinet for some basic games like centipede and marble madness earlier today. I am sure several people have seen this one:

Here is my control panel. The acrylic is 1/8" thick. I am concerned that the track ball will not protrude out high enough. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could mount this baby so it looks nice? It does not seem to be compatible with your typical trackball plates either.

Link for 2.25 TB mounting

I have one of these TBs under a 2mm acrylic CPO and it fits nice and flush with the lip around the ball. The 3mm, 1/8", won't cause a major issue

Sp basically route out the bottom of the CP to 1/8 . ok What about the size of the hole for the ball and what type of bolt did you use to mount housing to the wood. Any pics of installation

Not for anything but your cab is very nice. I think you should go with a better arcade trackball with mounting hard ware it might be double the price but if you think of how you spent already another $100 is well worth it
