Just for laughs, I looked through his feedback. Looks like he bought 99% of the materials to build that thing on eBay two weeks ago., including a cool router jig to write out "Arcade Gold Mine".

DaveMMR:

I love his button labels. Would have been fun explaining how to play games to guests.
Guest: How do you jump?
Arcadegoldminelair: Peter Pepper.

I'm sincerely impressed this guy found a completely new way to make a control panel horrible. I know that's not nice but when you slap ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- together and then try to sell it on eBay for 15x it's actual value before even completing it, all bets are off.  ;)

GregD:

It is back up for $575 with free shipping.

pinballwizard79:

So it has a Tron "marquee" but no Tron controls? Weird.

Notice his ebay tag is "retrocadedesigns" so he must be a legit high end builder...

I'm sure he frequents this site & etc.

DaveMMR:

And it's ended again... I wonder if someone just offered him a decent offer outside of eBay or something.

By the way, random building tip:

--- Quote ---Between labor and material/parts costs this deck is worth well over $1,500
--- End quote ---

If you're control panel costs $1500 (even including "labor") to build, you're doing something seriously wrong. Especially when you're using inexpensive Zippyy sticks.

And now for something construction - the panel actually wouldn't be so bad if it weren't sprinkled with the random logos like jimmies on a sundae. Logos only look good when part of a single overall theme.  ;)
