Honestly I've no idea how Intel has managed to stay in the consumer market with the prices they have.

The 2500k that I just paid $190 for should answer that question.

I agree, but the real question I believe the OP is asking is if the 3670K will be able to run the more intensive titles such as Blitz. Based on what I have heard you should be able to get 3.6ghz out of the chip and I would be interested to know if that is able to run Blitz/Gauntlet Legends/etc at 100%.

I'm looking at the FX-4100 and the A6-3670k. I should be able to get a mobo/processor/ram setup for around 200 bucks.

well good news and bad news the 3670k will run nlf blitz at 95-100% no problem, bad news is there must be something wrong with the ram or HDD or something the only other systems I've seen run this bad were ones horribly infected by virus's i'm gonna try to set up on a different HDD and see if that works, I'm definitely leaning towards telling you stay away from this ASUS F1A55-M LX PLUS mobo, it's just horrible I've still yet to figure out how to O/C the cpu which i can do in just a few seconds on my formula 5 MOBO

When you say 95-100% are you running "-bench" or is the system able to fully play the game (including sound) at 95-100%? Sorry to hear about your hiccups -- I have a lot of experience running Athlon II and Phenom II systems but I haven't spent much time with the FM1 socket or APU's.
kalars123:
that's with sound and everything I was just using f11 it would bounce between ~95-~102%, it was just a quick and dirty mame setup no option's set or anything just D3D
