Powered USB 1.0 Hub? Is that enough?
mcseforsale:
So...what happens when you try to use a 1.1 hub? This sux because the hub REALLY solved a number of problems for me.
Will it work properly with a 2.0 hub?
Also, my OptiPac and iPac are fairly old. My OptiPac is the one with the serial->USB cable. My iPac is the P/S2 - > USB cable.
Thanks,
AJ

I'm all for reusing free stuff when you can, but here's a powered USB 2.0 hub for under six bucks... Don't sweat it too much if your old free one won't cut it.

Yeah, but I'm a cheap bastard...by necessity.
I'll poke around and see what's lying about. :D

It'll work properly with a 2.0 hub, tested my IPAC4 with one and works fine.

Hmm then maybe my PC does have USB 2 even though it's like 8 years old, because I've never had any issues at all with my ipac. I honestly don't know when it was introduced.

Its probably USB 1.1 which would work. The OP was asking about USB 1.0 which will not work.
