Quit polluting my reality with your heresy.  There are no sequels to Highlander and there was no television show.  Connor Macleod was born in Scotland and later defeated the Kurgan the end.

Highlander needs to take it's own advice: "There can be only one!"

The film actually had lots of good actors. Tommy Lee Jones is great and I love Stanley Tucci. I even have a soft spot for Hugo Weaving, to be honest, mainly because of Agent Smith, though. Unfortunately, the good supporting cast (Weaving excluded) couldn't outweigh the awful casting of Chris Evans in the main role, or the ridiculous script, or the terrible directing. Also the source material pretty lame, but that wouldn't matter in the hands of a talented writer/director. Hell, even the lame choice of Chris Evans might not have mattered with a good script and a good director. Christopher Nolan has proven that twice. Christian Bale is a terrible Batman (which is strange cos he's a talented actor), but his two Batman movies have been great.
