I can't imagine that getting $600 for that machine is all that much of a profit. We know how quickly everything adds up. |

I was just pricing mini PCs earlier today and it's hard to get a decent one under $300. Add a monitor and you're most of the way there already. Or do you guys have better sources than that? Maybe people just farm refurb pc's and monitors for projects like this? |

Yup. Laptops with broken screens are perfect for this kind of build. You can find them cheap too. Used 17" lcd monitors can be picked up for $20. |
