Right handed; but use left hand.
fallacy:
--- Quote ---I may have mentioned this before, but I worked with a woman who was truly ambidextrous. I said 'sure, everyone says that but all they mean is they can kick a football with both feet'. She then proceeded to demonstrate. She wrote with her left hand. Then just as neatly, with her right. Then she wrote with both hands at the same time in the same direction. Then with both hands, from the middle outwards, her left hand writing in mirror image! Now THAT is true ambexterity
She can also write upside down, and doodle with one hand while writing notes with the other...
--- End quote ---
I remember watching a video on that in psychology class. The guy could write like that because his brain was split in half and both sides were working independently – one for each arm.

I didn't get it.

Almost all right handed people will put their glove on their left hand, catch the baseball with their left hand so they can throw the baseball with their right hand.

Right....I just thought it was supposed to be funny.....

Sounds borderline Siamese to me.
Are UK and Euro cars completely flipped, or just the shifter? I'd probably be okay left shifting, but throttling with my left and clutching with my right might be scary.
Howard_Casto:
Actually the American setup is the proper setup. You are literally on the "right" side of the road all the time. ;)
Seriously though, Henry Ford's mass production techniques lead to cars getting into the hands of the masses, which lead to some of the earliest traffic laws. We can't help it that the rest of the world does everything we tell them to do backwards. ;)

US cars just have the drivers seat on the wrong side. All controls are the same as far as possible (other than obviously a central gear shift). It would be insane to change throttle and clutch around. I've seen pictures of some cars in the US that had the drivers seat on the right. One might have been a Stutz. No one had a clear idea until the 20's which side it should be.
Gray_Area:
If the road's divided, there is no other side till you have to cross it. Pulling up to a building is the same as driving downtown. Traffic lights are the same.
