Full screen
Carsten Carlos:
Heard something about a -tweak option in DOS-MAME, but I might be wrong, 'cause I'm only using the Win-version.
As far as I remember, it uses custom resolution (so far available) that match the games most likely. Isnt' there a list of switches when you start it with /? or something like that? Just an idea.
tetsu96:
Actually, heading up the HW stretch is the wrong approach for DOS MAME. You really want to be playing at the games' native resolutions and playing around with VESA to see what kind of video modes go full screen and how you can tweak them.
AFAIK the -tweak is for tweaked VGA modes which I never got working full screen. VBE (That's the VESA TSR) is the way to go.
I'm thinking you're trying to use the TV out on the ATI - do a little looking around to see if there's something special you need to make that happen when using DOS apps.
Good luck ;)

Thanks for the help guys but I think i've tried almost everything. I might just give up and run my cab in windows, it will save me a lot of time :P
brian zellinger:
in the advancemame config, i selected generic monitor and everything is fullscreen. of course i did this at my own risk.
Howard_Casto:
Dos is bad umk... if your using a tv and your machine is halfway decent switch to windows. Dos is for those who have to use dos. IMO
