Check it.

Looks good, can you give some more information about the LCD, do you run at a fixed res for all games, what kind of ranges do you have for vertical refresh, any centering issues?

Calamity:
Looks fantastic.

Are you still using the Powerstrip + GroovyMAME combination?

EDIT: Ah I see, you'd mentioned it on the very subject :)

The use of Powerstrip  with GroovyMAME allows tweaking the desktop resolution to any desired refresh. This is the best approach for LCD screens, where switching resolutions doesn't make much sense. So all the needed scaling is performed by us on the software side, instead of relying on the panel's scaling that's out of our control.

The advantage of this industrial arcade LCD screens seems to be that they can reproduce custom refresh rates smoothly, unlike most modern PC LCD monitors.

jimmy2x2x:
Are there any known PC lcd's that can resync like that?

Sound very interesting

dmarcum99:
I heard the amiga users are finding 15khz success with older NEC multi-sync's and the like.  My understanding they do variable vert refresh rates as well.
I haven't taken the plunge, so YMMV.....
