Does it explain why a thunder god needs a bunch of human helpers? Is it just a Matrix 2 thing where he's bored and likes to fight for no reason? --- End quote --- A little late to the party, but the angle here is that the Asgardians as seen here aren't truly gods and aren't exactly as they're depicted in Norse mythology. The whole "magic is just science that we don't understand" thing is thrown around, and they are essentially very powerful aliens who like to throw the word "god" around. --- End quote --- The only one who really threw the word around is Loki, I don't think Thor, Odin or any of the others ever called themselves a "god". I think it was a good idea how they did that since it would have been easier to just say they are "gods" and that is how they do the whole magic thing. Science makes it more "realistic". |

We watched The Incredible Hulk (Norton version) last night. My kids hadn't seen it and I had not seen it in several years. It was much better than I remembered. There are a few weak points but overall it is a good movie. Much, much better than the first one. We rented the BluRay version and the images of Brazil are simply stunning in HD. My daughter though thought it was "okay". She grumbled on her way out of the room that "Captain America" is still her favorite. ;D Edit - I'm always getting my Edward's mixed up. |

I liked the characters growing up but the comic book reading format was just not my thing. I got all my background from cartoons. |

Who was the villain teased at the end, after the first set of credits? A lot of people say it was Thanos, but he appears to be blue and the guy in the movie looked red. He actually looked a lot like Hellboy, but that's obviously not the case. |
