my shabby "arcade"
« on: March 15, 2018, 10:09:17 pm »
I have been off the arcade stuff for some years now, this is what I made that has not been used for about 4 years  ;D

Atleast there is an Magstick plus in there so I can play 4 way and 8 way. And I can choose between vertical and horizontal.

I have ordered some new stuff:

A standalone stick doesn't have to be pretty, just has to work. Looks like it works to me.

Also, anyone remember when Happ buttons were a dollar and came with real cherry switches?
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Ha ha I think I did it drunk with a handsaw and hand-drill. But next gonna be a little nicer, but functionality will always trump design in my book. I would never make a "cabinet" without switchable 4-8 way joystick, and easy switchable vertical and horizontal monitor solution...too much of that in my view
