NTMU also. I'm currently getting ready to make a control panel. I will have it cut out for the buttons and all the joysticks. I have all the parts here and will be using leaf switch buttons in it and have 2 leaf stick joysticks also will be using for player 1. Here is a pic of the control layout plan which I will order.

The player 2 I will be using the 49way/rotary adapter and the right stick will be top fire.

Just thought I would say hey, I'm in Northwest Indiana. I just started collecting and have a Gorf Machine and Tekken 2 machine.
Both are not working currently as I just got them yesterday for dirt cheap.

That's pretty awesome. We might have to meet up one day. I'm out of portage and I've very very new to the arcade scene but would love to learn more about them.
LOL the only two I even have are non-functional. hahaha

What do you have running so far? Have you done any restorations?

* oh and just throwing this out there, I would be willing to trade help for help.

I'm also pretty good with Computers since I'm in the IT field, dunno if that might come in handy.

I'm still in the planning stage with my MaMe machine. I'm getting roms and thinking about the bad still.

I'd love to see what you guys have done.

Again I think we all need to hang out and start some sort of ritual. Some get togethers and just fun hang out would be completly awsome!

I'm also down anytime. I'm still working on my two cabs that I got recently. Right now I'm spending most of my time getting my control panel finished from mameroom.com I just got it operational last night but it's doin some weird stuff.

Nice. I live in Elgin Illinois only 15 minutes up the road. I sold my mame cabinet last year, but I have a new shell(empty cab) and a bunch of parts to build a new one. I just need that one resource that always eludes me... time. My mancave has classic game consoles like NES and Sega and a projector. I just need 2-3 arcade games to finish it off now.

I live in Thomson, IL. Hometown is Savanna. Home of Manny's Pizza!! Best greasy pizza in the state!! But I live in the NW part of IL right on the Mississippi so about 2 1/2 hours from Rockford. I'm currently on my very first build and also new to these forums, glad to see you guys are somewhat close by. My email is r_22eckstein@yahoo.com so if anyone gets together please send me an email. If I'm not caught working I would love to come meet everyone and maybe learn a little about the arcade building thing we all seem to have in common LOL!! I have little knowledge when it comes to building these things, I just got a bug up my rear after building my racing simulator rig and watching videos on home built arcades and whaaalaaa....... here i am! I should post some pics of my progress but I'm to the coin door part and I'm currently looking for one to purchase.
