Trying to create monitor presets for KT-2914 (Betson-Kortek) MultiSync
8BitMonk:
Hey AMD,
I experienced this on my monitor as well, not sure what causes it, it's almost a rippling effect through a portion of the screen. It's not as noticable when playing but very noticable on the title screen and especially if it goes through lettering. I found that I could eliminate it for most games by playing with the geometry, ie. slightly moving the screen left or right or slightly reducing the vertical or horizontal sizing.

Resurrecting and old topic here, since I'm also looking to get my presets squared away for my 27" Betson Multisync monitor. Why start a new topic right?
A quick backstory:
At one point I had it running "good enough" on version .150 of GroovyMame. However, my hard drive took a dump last year and I'm finally getting it set up again.
I updated to .169 and (of course) the day after I copy everything, version .170 comes out. So, I'm sticking to .169 for my sanity.
I'm having trouble getting VMMaker to select the proper modes for my Betson. It won't let me select 800 x 600 @ 60Hz for my desktop.
Any have a copy of their VMMaker.ini and ReslList.txt, etc with the proper settings?
I can't for the life of me remember what I did last time and my ini files are gone with the hard drive crash.
Thanks in advance all!

Calamity:
You should consider using VMMaker 2.0 (even if you stick with old drivers). This way you can simply copy and paste current GroovyMAME crt_ranges, no need for separate configurations any more.

I think that's what I have? File is dated December 2015. I'm using all the latest EmuDrivers, etc. Good to hear that moving forward I can simply copy and past the current ranges.
Was hoping someone can point me in the right direction for the best Betson GroovyMAME crt_ranges to date.
I know I've echoed others here and said it before but thanks for doing all this Calamity.

Just re-read the above and I didn't realize that the 2.0 version was released this year (January 2016).
So I'm in the process of starting with a clean slate and grabbing the 2.0 beta.
Any suggestions on what I should start with for presets? Should I start with generic, D9800 or custom?
