| gatordad:
Hi guys I'm configuring a new computer and I just installed XP with all the latest updates on a new drive, Troubleshoot a bad stick of RAM that was causing the Blue screen of Death, now I'm on to the AVGA 3000 install. I removed all my orig ati drivers, installed the avga 3000, installed the drivers, set up the tri sync utility, and choose MultiFrequency Monitor 15-38 as this will be used with a wg d 9800. I still have this running off a lcd and now I have no image from the DVI port, Is that normal after running the tri sync utility? I want to install the rest of the misc stuff (software, pc games etc.) before putting this in the cab and hooking up the wg d9800 Any advice is appreciated |

Just to add some additional info Before I installed the Tri sync utility, I had dvi port lcd image and was able to verify that all the drivers loaded or at least I was able to see the different resolutions that were now available. Only after running the Tri Sync utility did the DVI port lcd stop responding Do you think I need to set up mirrored displays or extended desktop? I am going to uninstall and try again tonight but It seems more difficult than it should be. |

The multi-frequency monitor should be connected to the VGA port not the DVI port. Andy |
