The irony of the whole MAME trademark thing is that it probably isn't even valid anymore. Unlike copyrights you actually have to actively defend trademarks against abuse if they're to remain valid, and that hasn't been done (at least not in any effective capacity) If he wasn't actually operating his own not-exactly-legal schemes (which he may or may not soon be paying a heavy price for) I dare say it might have actually been better off in his hands. |

He's got a family to support and there's not really a victim here, IMO. No dispute that kind of wrong doing isn't conducive to society but I certainly won't take much pleasure in seeing him receive a prolonged prison sentence. It's still kinda funny, though. |
