I would love to see a behind-the-scenes on how you create these signs! You have one for the metal signs, but that's boring :P

A big cnc cutting steel with Plasma is boring?:) The neon signs I have made by a manufacturer overseas. There are
very few people skilled in neon these days so its slim pickings in the US. Very few neon's are made in the USA any more.
I wish I had the skills to do the neon myself.

I only say its boring, cause I design steel products everyday at work using SolidWorks, a plasma cnc cutter is part of my daily routine. :lol Thats too bad about them being made overseas, i'll have to see if "How It's Made" has an episode on neon signs.

Its a really cool process the make them... but labor intensive as you can see. Hence why the entire neon
industry pretty much disappeared in the US:( I'd love to learn how to do it but finding someone to teach
me in NJ has been impossible.

I take it Peja uploaded a photo? If you did, thank you!  That would be awesome!

How did it look Vigo? Im a die hard MetallicA fan, ask anyone. Hell, I have commented in threads about it.  8)

Here, I uploaded a picture I found of it. I know the mid-90's logo generally isn't the fan favorite, but it still looks pretty good IMO. I can see why it is a much more feasible logo to make neon.

Those were all pretty funny though.  :lol

Yeah Crayola thats perfect! The only thing is that on the "M", it doesnt need the little line going down. Just the lighting side, and the half the other part of the m. How much would that sign run?

Great signs - The Capcom neon on your site comes up really well.
Did the Metallica one ever get made?

My older son is a pinball fanatic (and an IFPA ranked player).  I'm thinking of getting him that Pinball Game Room sign, words changed to Ryan's Room, and colors of the pin changed to suit.

Heard back on the quote.  If I understood him correctly it's the base cost of the sign plus a $20 fee to customize it.  He didn't indicate an extra cost for the third color.  I asked him for a full cost quote given the custom design on one of the words, different colors, and a third color added.  Sounds like it's going to be $155 + $20 + shipping.

If that is the case I am definitely in for my son for Xmas.

Oooh.  A good update.  They do not make clear on their website, or else I missed it, that shipping is included in the listed price.  That's a big deal for a glass sign.

I have an order in now.  Let's see how this turns out.  He says I should have it in 2-3 weeks.

Today I got a pic of the sign just prior to shipping.  They say it should arrive in about two weeks.  They gave me a huge pic but the actual sign is 16" x 13".

Well, apparently the prices on that site include shipping, and they don't do a good job of making that clear.  I had been expecting to hear $50 or so.

I don't want to completely unpack this at the moment because a lot of the packaging is wrapped around the glass to protect it.  I have to hide this until Xmas.  It looks GREAT lit up in the basement!  This is exactly what they said they would deliver.  It took about 4 weeks from my first inquiry to having a sign in my hand.  A soda can is included for scale.
