New DWJ skin from LHUPATECH: LHUPATECH Schenectady WS
« on: January 07, 2012, 05:01:20 am »
PRESENTATION OF THE DW JUKEBOX SKIN PROJECT

The present skin is the wide screen version of the LHUPATECH's 4-3 screen DW Jukebox skin named "Schenectady" released in 2007
especially for cabinet applications. then, it was re-issued in 2010 with new features as two languages (English, French) and two
lighting effects resulting of a compendium of 4 skins! This wide screen version features either two languages (English, French)
and two lighting effects as the 2010 edition. That's the fourth DW Jukebox wide screen skin by LHUPATECH!... Enjoy!

FEATURES OF THE "LHUPATECH SCHENECTADY WS" SKIN

 - Wide screen
 - Dedicated to the use in jukebox creation, jukebox cabinet building enthousiasts
 - Realistic imaging
 - Available in two languages (English, French) and two lighting effects resulting of a compedium of 4 skins!
 - Only .bmp (Bitmap) imaging used instead regular LHUPATECH's .png imaging for the most reliable wide screen image quality experience!
 - Featuring a new compact and futuristic function display called "Statoscope" that looks like a bar graph scope!

AN INSPIRATION OF "ROCK-OLA"!

You should notice the Rock-Ola 453 and 459 jukeboxes inspiration in that skin! It's characterized by the centered selecting panel
i-e "index" and the old yellowish or greenish lighting effect (on these Rock-Ola jukeboxes) on the present skin. This inspiration
can also noticed on the button sound effects! A certain "Seeburg" inspiration is also noticed on the top display of the skin and the
chariot mechanism sound effect! Knowing that the skin is dedicated to the cabinet applications, the use of 70's Rock-Ola pink or blue
translucid buttons and switchgear will give a amazing project! So, you can also replace the actual title strip i-e "LHschenrbltsflcw.bmp"
on the dark old lighted skin (LHSchenWSRBL EN or FR ) for a greener effect version called "LHschenrbltsflg.bmp" and get a special lighting
effect in specific lighting environments!

SOUND EFFECTS USED FOR THE SKIN PROJECT

So, all the sound effects were built according to the sounds of such modern "chariot" mechanism jukeboxes! On this version of the
"LHUPATECH Schenectady" skin, features realistic "Rock-OLa" switchboard sound! The invalid button selecting alarm features a buzzer
sound effect. The mechanism scan and record play sound effect features a "clean-cut" with no "scratches" record begining with a clear
"pop" as the tone arm touches the surface of a "brand new" record! This features either realistic coin chute sound effect! LHUPATECH
hopes that you'll love it!

TEMPLATE USED FOR THE SKIN PROJECT

Wurly Numeric skin by HoundDog63 - April 12, 2008 (Made especially for wide screens)
So, LHUPATECH works only on HoundDog63's DW Jukebox skin templates for his 16-9 screen DW Jukebox
skin projects for the precision image of these templates! Until june 2010, LHUPATECH has built
only 4-3 screen skins whatever for PDFJS or DW Jukebox because LHUPATECH hasen't wide screen
monitors to work on wide screen skin projects!

CREDITS

Special thanks to HoundDog63 for the bright idea to build 16-9 (wide screen) skins for DW Jukebox! Either,
LHUPATECH (Me), would like to thank him for the use of his wide screen DW Jukebox skin templates in my wide screen projects!
Special thanks to Ray Larabie (Ray Larabie Fonts) for the redistributable free .ttf font so called
"FakeReceipt": a particular "dot matrix" font that matches perfectly any LHUPATECH's DW Jukebox skin
do be redistributed all over the Internet troughout the official dwjukebox website or other dedicated
websites as BYOAC. This will avoid any possible copyright concerns about fonts in that skin! A particular thank you
to Chris La Mantia for the creation of DW Jukebox... the extraordinary free software wich is closer to a real jukebox with
numerous cool advantages as the possibility to skin it easily with no creativity bundaries!

I hope that you'll like it!
