Oh where oh where can my dust washers be...
« on: January 01, 2012, 01:05:48 pm »
Bought 4 dust washers over 2 months ago and never received them from Lizardlick. I know I had
trouble with the online ordering, tried several times and it finally went through.I received
a purchase confirmation and see that the money was taken from my VISA account. I also
sent a followup email asking what the status was, but did not hear anything back.

Order number: AB-22784
Order Date: 10/29/2011

Oh well, what can you do.

That's odd, I ordered a dustwasher around the same time and got it right away.

If i remember correctly, they sometimes post on the shoryuken forums. If they still won't answer your emails, try finding them there.

This was the email address that was sent as part of the order confirmation
that was emailed to me after my purchase.

sales@lizardlick.com

To tell you the truth, it is only $8.00 to me so I won't be loosing sleep over it. But, there are other vendors (Andy at Ultimarc comes to mind) out there who cater to their
clientele far better than my puny experience with Lizardlick. It may well be that my order was misplaced, overlooked, lost in the mail etc, but the vendor could
have at least responded to my concern no matter how small. That is just good business.

Never assume that anybody ever received an email.

Did you contact them using their contact form ? (and, if so, then, yeah, there is no excuse).

I agree to this.
Only i think you might be "going against your own say" when you post this kinda stuff on forums. I'm certain anyone doing buisness (even lousy/dodgy ones) would aprieciate the opertunity to figure this out with you.
That said, I have no experience in said supplier.

To be fair, sometimes posting in a related forum is a good way to get attention, as long as you have done your best to contact the store... I've had to do it myself when a product was a no-show and the supplier was not responding. I agree with 404 that the shoryuken forums would be a better bet though.
Completed projects: Pac bartop (Plug & Play), 30th Anniversary Pac cab (MAME), Point Blank (PS1), Centipede (arcade hardware- light restore), VS. Super Mario Bros (arcade hardware- light restore) Tetris Cocktail (SNES), Arcade Classics upright (60-in-1, then MAME), Multi-Raiden (arcade hardware). Pac Man vs.(Gamecube),

Working on: Pinball Re-theme, Homebrew arcade arena shooter

Actually, I was really only posting to let the forum members know. I don't know this vendor from a hole in the wall.

I felt that contacting the vendor once was all the extra I was willing to spend trying to get
what I paid for. The only thing that is suffering is my lovely CP that has 2 pairs of different type
dust washers. The horror. The horror... :'(
