Yes, I'm in the same boat.  My order was placed on the 13th and has been in the "manufacturing" status for about a week.  I just figured that they are slammed due to the holidays (and Randy confirmed that) so it will take longer than usual.  I like GGG products so it will be worth the wait :)

MAME TIME:

--- Quote from: GameTech on December 21, 2011, 11:05:34 pm ---Mt 2 cents with GGG.... I've ordered in the past... decent products to great....   Also response to Emails and inquiries is poor to terrible most of the time.  His site has mentioned about a so called move to new building, but this was weeks ago.. and you would think he could stay on top of his business and actually provide updates, customer service and more for the holiday orders...  I only see a response from him right here on the forums only.  He must be so busy, or the GGG thing is a side business to a full time job (i think).

His site is hard to order from IMO, and not user friendly sometimes.   His gear, again, is great and he does offer some unique items, which brings me back...

Also most of his "popular" items are always on "sold out" status, or he only updates his site once in a while, so lots of us miss purchasing, as we have checked for weeks, and nothing.. then all of the sudden its in stock and sold out the next day.  Frustrating when you are trying to plan out another cab, and it's all gone again for weeks at a time.

Randy needs to provide a phone # for customers to call in... as Emails don't get answered promptly IMO.

Will I shop again at GGG, you bet.... I just hope I can get some of the products before they sell out again.  :(

Try to send a PM here, you may get a quicker response ....  :)

How do you figure that his website is "not user friendly sometimes" my wife is boarderline computer illiterate and has no problems ordering stuff for me, i think we should cut these guys some slack, they provide good products to the community, and yes theres going to be some hiccups along the way. But in the end they try their best to satisfy
GregD:
I find the GGG website very usable.  Ultimarc needs an overhaul though.

Yes, I find the GGG site very easy to order from.

I have ordered from GGG a number of times, including once recently, and have had no qualms about shipping speed.  It did not take abnormally long to ship or arrive, but this was a while ago.  Ultimarc DOES need an overhaul, or at least I feel its website does.  I have found it to be rather non-intuitive.

As for UPS, I just got my giftcards (ordered form Amazon.com) delivered by Ontrac in a timely manner.   :)
