What are you buying you GF/wife for xmas?
dextercf:
As the topic says, what have you bought or are going to buy for your GF's and/or wifes (for those who have multiple  )?
I, myself, have bought her a new iphone 4 (not S) 8gb white, and some pyjamas, gloves and a "$20 itunes card" so she can stock up on apps for her new iphone.
And yeah, we both got a new clothes dryer 2 weeks ago. Kinda like a pre-xmas gift to our selves as we where fed up with having the house full of clothes airdrying (family of 4, got two kids of 1,5 and 4 years).

Thats cool, Im also getting the GF some pajamas, she wants some of the ones that have the feet on em. They are frekaing expensive though, kinda lame but whatever, thats what she wants. I also got her some earrings from a fellow BYOAC member, so those should be cool. Oh man. Im not looking forward to getting to that stage where a dryer is a pre christmas gift to myself :lol
My GF also likes wine, but Im retarded when it comes to that. Anyone have any suggestions on what I could get her?

That's pretty vague... white wine, red wines? Know what regions she likes? California? New Zealand?
knave:
Lots of tasty wine in my neck of the woods (nor cal) But red vs white is the first thing to pin down...Then you can think about things like sweet, dry, tanic, oak, etc.
Lately I'm on a Zin kick, Smooth and flavorful...

Just get her some Dan Akroyd's Crystal Head Vodka. Nothing says Merry Christmas more than an accurate rendering of a human skull filled with vodka. ;D
In Seriousness, if you are not a big wine drinker yourself, I would just go to a real wine shop where the people there will really know their wine, and get a recommendation in the price range you give. Get a wine that the they can give some interesting facts about, and then you can just repeat that info to the GF. It makes it sound like you put a lot of thought into the wine.
