Hi guys....

just wanted to know if anybody else has had this issue......

after putting perspex/lexan ontop of my cp artwork..... it looks as if the artwork is damp.... and stickin to the rear of the lexan.... anybody know how to stop this. thx

Maybe its static electricity? Try taking a dryer sheet and rubbing the plexi and the artwork lightly to remove the static.

I had this same issue. I went and bought a matte finish clear coat from a craft store, applied it to my CP, and it works perfectly. I've had it this way for months with no 'dampness' issues whatsoever.

sweet! thx mate... i guess i'd be better getting matte artwork for the cp in the future? and did you apply the matte clear coat to the underside of the lexan/perspex. thx

This is what I bought: http://www.michaels.com/Krylon%C2%AE-Matte-Finish/cp0429,default,pd.html?cgid=products-craftpainting-finishes-krylon&start=7

I sprayed a coat over my vinyl CP, let it completely dry, gave it a light wiping with a dry microfiber cloth, then put it under the plexi for my CP. It looks great.
