If you're doing twin-stick games (Robotron, Karate Champ, Assault, Crazy Climber, etc.) give Libble Rabble a try.  Cool little game.

No twin-stick discussion is complete without Rescue.  It's a helicopter game that has some parallels to Choplifter, only it doesn't suck.

Another puzzler: Block Out.

Thanks folks!
Couple of good suggestions in there.

On the subject of twin stick games,
I'm going to use regular joysticks, not joysticks with buttons on top of them.
Would it be playable/comfortable to play a tank type 2 joystick game and use the control panel buttons to fire etc...???
Cant imagine that would work very well and I dont want button top joysticks but I would love to get my battlezone on.

No, believe me, it's neither comfortable nor fun.

You could meet yourself half way though; have one normal joy (the left one) and one top-fire (the right one.) I did it that way with my first cab and it was... well, it was ok.  Not perfect, but much better than trying to use the panel mounted buttons.  Here's a pic.

Now, since that cabinet no longer exists, and I have a much smaller setup (that thing was HUGE) I plan on building a separate control panel with nothing but the 2 top-fire sticks and the trackball.  I realized that I never played twin-stick games with other people.
