Opinions on Android 2.0 tablets?

It will.... their main goal atm is to get the app running in android and iOS.  Since the onlive controller is bluetooth and the ipad has built-in bluetooth it would be stupid for them not to add support.  Even if onlive doesn't make an official driver, I've got to think that developers are going to take advantage of support for a controller that is "officially supported" by the ipad.

Great.  Thanks Howard for posting that.  I've been wanting a controller for the iPad for the longest time.

Will the controller work with all the older games, or just the newer games that are programmed for it?

Howard_Casto:
Much like the icade the games will have to be programmed for it unfortuantely.  This just has do do with apple's lack of foresight.... no universal HID protocol like you see on desktop computers, which means games can't be programmed with a generic hardware device in mind.

At a basic level a controller could act as a bluetooth keyboard (much like our beloved IPACs). Just means no analog.

Howard_Casto:
Even then, keyboards aren't universally supported.  The program has to be coded with a keyboard in mind.

Don't get me wrong, it is a more acceptable protocol, but plugging one in still won't ensure it will work with all games, nor will it work with older games.
