I second the dell streak 7, I love that thing!
I hear the Gal tab 7 is good too

If you are set on a 10" tablet the Asus Transformer is probably the cheapest well reviewed name brand tab out there. I spent some time in front of the Galaxy 10" and it's pretty sweet though for portability reasions I still prefer the 7" form factor.

I keep hearing not so pleasant things about the cheep knock offs but if you pick one up let us know.

For those interested in cheapo tablets, there is a daily deal today only for 7" android tablet, $50 shipped.

Probably is very painful to use, but might be a good Christmas gift for Grandma so she feels high tech.  ;)

I picked up a referb nook color for ~$70. So far the email and web seem just fine to do a little surfing and mail at the coffee shop. Nice screen... I might try out a few flavors of Android on it later if I think it will improve upon the device.

For those interested in this Tablet, here is a link to all the available Custom ROMS for it.  Not sure which ROMS will work as the site is pretty confusing.

I actually saw this last night and picked it up. I have an iPad but don't have any Android devices, so I figure this would be a cheap and easy introduction.
