Big Buttons, Small Holes

Has anyone manage to get 30mm buttons into 1-1/8" control panel holes? I am looking to pick up some pink buttons and the only ones I've come across are the 30mm ones at Paradise Arcade.

I assume that this measurement is represents the outside of the button threads and was wondering if they can be screwed into conventional 1-1/8" sized holes, or necessitate the need to enlarge the holes.

Thanks.

No, the hole size of 1-1/8" is 28.58mm. A 30mm button will not fit in 28.58mm. The button dextercf linked will fit.

Thanks.

I may have to enlarge the Ms. Pac-man start button holes. These are the one s I was considering because of the shade of pink they are: http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/en/pushbuttons/382-black-pink-30mm-sanwa-obsf-30-pushbutton.html

But another disadvantage is that they use micro switches.

If I could find the correct shade of pink in a button I can use leaf switches with all my problems would be over.
