Who has an unmodified real arcade control panel working with mame?

BrentRadio:

I know most MAMEer's like to create custom control panels for their cabs, but does anyone connect real unmodified control panels from an arcade game?

Any pics?

Nephasth:

That's part of the purpose of the J-PAC.

I won't be using Jamma wiring though. Is that the same with I-PAC as well?

Nephasth:

If using an IPAC, you can either run new wire to the switches, or cut one end of the existing CP harness off and wire it up to the IPAC (or whatever other encoder you choose).

Unfortunately, I took no pics before I took them apart, but I was using an original unmodified Ms.Pac-man control panel with MAME. I still have it with the controller taped to the inside of the CP and soldered to all the switches. But the original CP harness is still there.
