Space Invaders Part II

I am struggeling with this Space Invaders Part II game..
First off, there are three seperate boards in the "module" (pictures in this thread), this was ok for me at first but later as I have browsed the web some more...

This picture in a thread in another forum appeared to me:


There are only two boards in his setup, and mines got three. Is this why game won't boot?

Later, i have discovered that this might be midway board.. And what I got is a Taito.

Also, is it ment that I should have two edge connectors on this thing?
#1 on the top board, for some voltages but mainly sound+controls.
#2 on the bottom board, for the voltages.
