| Choose games with mouse/lightgun in front end? |

Hi there, I have just finished my first machine (yay) and already making plans to make another one... I was thinking for the next one a gun machine! Is there a front end where you just have the snaps of the games and you can just click on them with a mouse? I was thinking it would be cool if you could shoot the game you wanted to play as I would be using an aimtrak gun and as far as I am aware it is essentially just a fancy mouse? Any help would be greatly appreciated Cheers :) |

Sadly, I don't recall ever hearing about such a kind of frontend. It is a really interesting idea, though. As a cheesy workaround, use MameUI. Set it to icon view, and make your desktop resolution low to make the icons appear larger. Double-click/shoot the icon to launch the game of your choice. This will achieve the same basic idea. Cheers for the feedback man! Going to buy the aimtrak next week. Is that the right gun to buy or is there any better suggestions? |

If you can get a crt monitor, you can get the older guns that are more accurate. |
