It's the same ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- in about half a dozen stores I visited but when I ask to see it, nope, not allowed. Against store policy. :laugh2:

Come to the Hastings store I work at. I show that disc checker off to all the customers. ;D

--- Quote from: rlemmon on November 13, 2011, 05:26:47 pm ---So I went into GameStop today to pick up my preordered copy of super Mario land 3d. It was pretty busy with allot of customers. So I wait my turn and I asked the guy at the counter if they had sonic classic collection for the ds. He takes a minute to look then says ya it's $19.99 I said ok I’ll take it then he tells me it's pre-owned. I told him never mind and he says alright and proceeds to ring up my Mario game.
While he's doing that this fat squinty eyed ---meecrob--- who's working behind the other side of the counter says why you don’t want a pre-owned one in a really snotty tone of voice. I said to him well for one thing they have it new for the same price at Wal-Mart (which is in eye shot) and I'm not paying full price for used and anyone knows that a hell of allot of ds games are bootlegs.
Then I say plus Nintendo bricks your 3ds if you try to play pirated games. He just stood there for about three seconds looking like he just saw a three headed bigfoot. Then with his squinty, beady little eyes he hurried up to spot another customer and stammers out how can I help you. Seriously what a ---meecrob---. It wasn't even his sale and it’s none of his damn business if I buy new or used.

Wow, you really showed him! He probably cried himself to sleep that night.

I know that's usually my goal when I leave the house. Making someone cry themself to sleep!

:applaud: :applaud: :applaud: Me to chad, But i think we need to set our goals higher and make them curl up into the fetal position and piss thereselves while they slowly rock back and forth repeating its not real, its not real.
I find gamestop to be both good and bad. What I like is there pre order guarantee. I know most people don't bother with it but I live in a small town and for games we have, walmart, k mart and game stop. Walmart and Kmart don't always get new games on release day if they even get them at all.
It's nice to not have to worry about availability of a game Ive been waiting months for. Another thing I like is that they sometimes do have good sales. for example I had been planning on buying a 3DS for Super Mario 3D land and Mario kart 7. I just happend to check my e mail before I left for walmart and they had sent me a power up rewards card for $25.00 off a new 3ds so I saved some $$$ there.
The one guy that is almost always there is really nice and helpfull and will go out of his way to help you with anything you need or have a question about and I always ---That which is odiferous and causeth plants to grow--- about games and systems with him. I agree there used games are a joke. There always scratched two hell and back. They also like two price gouge quite a bit.
I find allot of games for $5.00 or $10.00 less at walmart or Kmart. On the subject of k mart they rock pretty hard with those gamer coupons. If you have one of there store cards you will often get a $15-25.00 coupon for your next gaming purchase when you buy new release games there.
