Saddest Movie\Show ending that brought a tear to your Eye
fallacy:
I also felt nothing at the end of Marley & Me.
Really that dog was acting up the whole entire move. Stupidest dog ever, I was supposed to feel something for it when it dies at the end?
I hate stupid dogs. My neighbor has a couple of big stupid dogs like that. 3 years they will still bark at me through the fence when I go in my back yard.

Yeah Up should be renamed "Screwed Up"
The beginning of Bambi is pretty sad too.
spoot:
Grave of the Fireflies - entire movie
Opening of Up was a downer
Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade.....not a tear.....but a "dayum" when you realize who actually shoots her.
Stalingrad.......ending in the snow
All I can think of atm since I'm lazy and it's time for beer.

The "Joy Luck Club" is probably one of the most moving movies Ive seen. I ball my eyes out every time, like two rivers.
Worst part is that Id just watched it on the pc, then it came up on HBO the next day, and I foolishly watched it, and balled my eyes out again.
Great movie. But you have to really be prepared, and have the strength to endure the non-stop emotional heartbreak and pain that comes before the bit of Joy that later follows.

+1
My wife and I both had a tough time with that one in the theater. Our kids grew up with those movies and my oldest is now looking at colleges. Pixar really knew how to push the buttons with that movie.
Had the DVD almost a year and haven't watched it yet.
