Wuss Alert - I get wonky from some games
drventure:
Lots of people are like that. I had a friend that could play Doom and Quake all day long, but have him stand over my shoulder and watch me play, instant upchuck.
I'm a little that way with cars. I love driving and driving games, but if I'm in the passenger seat, it takes some effort to keep from getting nauseated.
But games, never had any issues with (although Descent screwed with my brain for about the first 2 months I played it).
HaRuMaN:
I watched my brother play F.E.A.R. and got pretty sick... I had to leave the room, and didn't feel right for a few hours.
I can play the game with no issues, just can't watch someone else.

Ha! Wasn't Descent awesome with that? It took a while to get used to but it was a blast flying, being inverted, getting lost, etc? I loved that. :cheers:
I think when people watch a FPS, they get queasy pretty easily because they aren't controlling the movement. When you play, you know where you're going move, look, spin, etc. Watching it, it's too random and more herky jerky. At least, that's what affects me.

@Hoopz
Yeah, descent is one I really wish some brave soul would perform the "DukeNukem Remix" on and put out with HD graphics and native windows ui.
Unfortunately, while I may be brave enough, my lack of free time (and likely my game coding skillz) prevent me from doing it.
Doh. Looks like there might already be something out there

Just may have to check that out...
