| Ipac4 problems!! |

Whats up forum got a question.. I have an I pac4 and all the buttons work accept a few when u press them only stays pressed for a second then goes off with out letting go and its left and right on all the joysticks and 3 out 6 buttons on rest.. Ive checked n rechecked the wiring its not that and also replaced switches n not that..any ideas? Oh and ive tried on 2 different pcs |

This is going to sound obvious but check your earths (GRD). When we've experienced issues like this it's usually a bad earth or somewhere two exposed pieces of metal making contact that shouldn't be. Failing that, try changing the PC cable you are using (PS/2 or USB). If you need a replacement part, drop Andy an e-mail and I'm sure he'll sort you out. |

Thanks for the quick reply ive checked gnd and not that I have a ps2 ipac but im using a laptop that only has USB so im using a adapter kind of figured it might be the problem but doesnt make sence why some buttons stay pressed and some dont |

Maybe, but in our experience most cable adapters didn't work correctly with the I-PAC family, so you may want to consider contacting Andy anyway for advice. |
